Traditional Crete Holidays And Christmas Celebrations

Christmas is one of the most anticipated holidays of the year. In order to see how other cultures celebrate, people are increasingly opting to travel abroad during the festive season. Many exotic breaks are available if you want to try somewhere a bit warmer this Christmas including a range of Sharm el Sheikh holidays.

Equal enthusiasm is shown by both Muslims and Christians when celebrating the birth of Jesus. Egypt is a fascinating spot to spend your festive period because of this mixture of customs. A fast is observed during the period of Advent for the 40 days preceding the event.

Head to a church service and join the masses on Christmas Eve by treating yourself to a colourful new outfit. It is tradition to return home and dine on fata after this – a meal consisting of rice, garlic and boiled meat. Visits to neighbours, friends and family is often done on Christmas morning in Egypt.

If you elect for Mallorca holidays this Christmas, it is best to stay in Palma as the surrounding area can grind to a bit of a halt over this special time. The city comes alive with spectacular nativity scenes and charming Christmas markets where you can snap up any last minute stocking fillers. It is a family affair on Christmas Day as people tend to dine at home with their loved ones. After bellies are suitably full, Mallorcan residents take to the streets to dance the Juta, a traditional Christmas dance accompanied by dramatic guitars and castanets.

A time filled with tradition and tasty treats can be had on Crete holidays if you’re lucky enough to have booked a trip here. Pigs have been reared by families for centuries in order to slaughter them on Christmas Eve and serve them up for dinner the next day. On the second day of Christmas, sausages will be made out of any left overs to eat at a later date so not a scrap of meat will be wasted.

Having the ability to speak mandarin, even if it is a few phrase, it can bring great benefits. You are able to speak with over half the world’s population with English as your other language.

Whether you are going for China for business or a holiday by investing your time in learning some of the language, you have shown respect and understanding of the Chinese culture, which is a powerful aspect when dealing with such a reserved and protocol focused culture.

Proudly introducing you to the latest packages of Chinese-Learn Lessons:

Package 1: Basic sentences

The first package is the basic sentences package. This package includes 20 ~ 30 videos, each video teaches 1 sentence in Chinese. Generally speaking, to learn to speak a few sentences in Chinese shows that a traveler is willing to spend some time and efforts to respect their culture and language before they arrive in China. At the mean time, many of the sentences can assist in communication, for the convenience of traveler. For example: “Where is the toilet?” This package also includes a few more videos to teach the basic knowledge of learning Chinese, especially the pronunciation of Chinese names.

Package 2: Basic vocabulary and practices

The second package is called basic vocabulary package. There are 15 videos teaching 2 ~ 4 new words each, plus 10 videos to practices the sentences and words that have been taught in package 1 and package 2. Most of the words taught in this video are nouns you can use in everyday conversations. For example: “Beer, drinks, how much?” With some practices together with sentences learned in package 1, each sentence can be creatively expended into a few sentences by substituting the objectives or subjective.

Package 3: Advanced sentences

To satisfy some of the travelers who have greater needs of learning Chinese, I have created package 3 and 4. Package 3 includes 20 ~ 30 advanced level videos, each video teaches a Chinese sentence that is slightly longer, such as “This dish is really excellent” etc. These sentences can be used for casual conversations, such as having a chat in a bar after work.

Package 4: Advanced Vocabulary and practices

Package 4 includes 15 videos for vocabulary. Each video teaches some nouns or abstract words in Chinese, such as “Seafood, really tasty, like”. These words can be used together with the basic and advanced sentences to create new sentences. The practices in this package are in a form of dialog, so that the sentences and words learned can be practiced with some interactions.

Full Course: including Package 1 ~ Package 4

For those who want to purchase all the 4 packages together, I will include an additional free package, which includes 5 personal quotes. It takes time and efforts to learn and practice these quotes, such as “I love you.” in Chinese, and express your appreciation in a meaningful way at the right time. The feedback from people who have purchased these 5 quotes has been positively amazing.

One gentleman who was going to China for Business and had been focusing on the business transaction in China, brought the 5 personal quotes , practiced them and used them on his wedding anniversary, it was the best gift he could give his wife. He said he was lucky, and she keeps talking about their wedding anniversary to everyone.
