China Cultural Tour

China has one of the oldest and most complex cultures in the world. With 56 distinct recognized ethnic groups and more than 4,000 years of recorded history, the country’s culture is a very colorful one worth observing. Language, mythology, spirituality, literature, music, arts, martial arts, fashion, architecture, cuisine, and leisure; all these in their own unique characteristics make up China as a nation.

A China Culture Tour can give you a chance to learn the culture that has been closed to the world until recently. Experience the Chinese Calligraphy, Painting, Literary, Language, Chinese Kungfu, Cuisine, and Traditional Chinese Medicine with this wonderful package. You can also visit significant sites of long ago and relive the rich history of China as you set foot in stunningly beautiful places.

The 15-day itinerary will include Beijing, Xian, Luoyang, Kaifeng, Nanjing, Suzhou, Hangzhou, and Shanghai. In Beijing, you will visit the Forbidden City, Tiananmen Square, Summer Palace, The Great Wall, Ming Tombs, Temple of Heaven, and Wangfujing Street. You will have the chance to experience a Peking duck banquet and witness a Chinese Kungfu performance in the capital of the People’s Republic of China.

In Xian, you will be able to visit the City Wall, Big Wild Goose Pagoda, tomb of Emperor Qin Shi Huang, Huaqing Hot Spring, and Banpo Museum. On one evening, you will be able to enjoy a Tang Dynasty show in the city.

A trip to Luoyang will take you to the Longmen Grottoes and White Horse Temple, Mogao Caves, Yungang Caves, and Longmen Caves. In Kaifeng, you will visit the Jewish Community and Song City before proceeding to Nanjing. There, you will visit Nanjing Yangtze River Bridge, Confucian Temple and the Sun Yat-sen Temple before heading to Suzhou, where you will visit various historical sites including Tiger Hill, Leaning Pagoda, Tomb of King He Lu, Sword Pool, and Luyu Well.

The last few days of the tour in Hangzhou and Shanghai will take you to West Lake, Three Pools reflecting the Moon, Huagang Park, Dragon Well Green Tea Village, The Bund, Nanjing Road, Jade Buddha Temple, Pudong New District and Huangpu River.

Depending on the season, the whole package will cost US $1,777 to $1,920 per person. The following are included in the tour price:

  •  All meals as specified in the itinerary.
  • All hotels as listed in the above itinerary serve daily western or Chinese breakfast.
  •  Entrance fees to all scenic spots listed in the itinerary.
  •  China Cultural Tour includes China domestic flights.
  •  Private air-conditioning vehicle and excellent English-speaking guide.

  •  Domestic flights and land transfer with drivers as specified.

 

The following are excluded in the tour price:
